Our Herb Hubs
Our Herb Hub feels like the heart of our collective. It's where we build, create, celebrate, cry, dance, work, play and so much more. Most of our work moves through these spaces so we tend to spend a lot of time in them. Our Herb Hub is also growing by the minute just like the plants growing outside of it. As our capacity grows so do our herb hubs.
Located in Asheville, NC and Shelbyville, Kentucky two of our co-founders Mari and Sarah support our hubs on land where they live and tend.
We make herbal goodies, store items donated, and package things that are moving out either as care kits or baskets full of joy for our distro sites (see below for more info), care kits, or programs. The hub’s are both a physical location and a place that we carry with us wherever we go. Be that on the road, in our cars, we carry the medicine with us, just like our ancestors did.
WNC distribution network
About once a month, we go to our distribution sites throughout Western North Carolina and leave free herbal goodies ranging from Aflorar Herb Collective tea blends, bath salts, and herbal steams, along with Gaia Herb Products, and depending on the needs of the community in the moment, we will drop off PPE, teas, salves, tinctures, water, etc. We also include items donated by herbalists, growers, and folks across the country.
Growers Network
In 2025 we welcomed our growers' network of 13 GROWERS to our ecosystem. These growers support us through providing several varieties of herbs and flowers for our herbal blends. They are located across Appalachia, Kentucky, South Carolina, Alabama, and Puerto Rico! You can check out our Instagram to hear more about our growers.
